FOP Ohio State Auxiliary Programs

The Ohio Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary supports and participates in many programs on the National and State levels.

• NATIONAL PEACE OFFICER’S MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE

Each year since 1982 the Auxiliary has coordinated this memorial of officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

• NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER’S MEMORIAL

The Auxiliary contributed towards the memorial, which stands in our nation’s capital.

• EASTER SEALS

The Ohio Auxiliary continues to remain a top money raiser.

• VESTED INTEREST PROGRAM (VIP)

The Auxiliary urges officers to voluntarily wear personal body armor.

• LOCK IT UP! PROGRAM

The Auxiliary encourages officers to lock up their guns when they are off duty and keep them out of children’s sight.

• CRITICAL INCIDENT RESPONSE SERVICE (CIRS)

The Auxiliary supports this FOP of Ohio and FOP, Ohio Labor Council program which assists law enforcement, support personnel and their families in a time of crisis.

• JACK DUDEK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

This award, available to our children, was established in honor of the special friendship that the Past National and State President had with the Auxiliary.

• OHIO SURVIVORS MEMORIAL COMMITTEE

The Ohio Auxiliary assists the FOP of Ohio in purchasing flags for our State memorial services and providing a Dinner to the families of Ohio’s fallen officers at the National Memorial Service.

• BLUE LIGHT PROJECTS

The Auxiliary supports law enforcement by displaying blue lights, candles and ribbons that represent the Thin Blue Line of Law Enforcement.
