Fraternalism
The FOP of Ohio, Inc. is the state level of a national organization
formed to assist law enforcement officers of all types in their chosen
field of employment. The FOP of Ohio, Inc. holds quarterly board
meetings, including an annual conference, for members around the state
of Ohio to get together and discuss issues that are relevant to their
lives. There are almost 200 local lodges in Ohio. If you are
not a member of a local lodge and are an Ohio officer contact
Chet
Delong, our recruiter, for information on the local lodge in your
department or area. Once you are a member of a local lodge, and
that local lodge is in good standing with the State Lodge, you will be a
member in good standing of the FOP Grand Lodge. The FOP Grand
Lodge represents members in over 48 states and several countries.

Pension
and Retirement System Assistance
There are
three pension systems in Ohio for law enforcement. The Ohio Police
and Fire Pension Fund (OP-F), The Public Employee's Retirement
System (PERS), and The Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirement System. There are several seats on the OP-F board that are
