Ohio FOP President Jay McDonald:
SCOTUS Decision won’t affect FOP’s ability to represent members
COLUMBUS –Jay McDonald, President of the Ohio Fraternal Order of Police, released the following statement addressing the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision this morning in Janus v. AFSCME.
“While we’re disappointed in today’s decision, it doesn’t reduce our commitment to represent the interests of Ohio’s law enforcement officers,” McDonald said. “The Fraternal Order of Police is, and will remain, the largest voice for law enforcement and we will continue to negotiate and fight for our members – just as we’ve always done. We’re confident that our membership understands the value of belonging to the FOP and we will continue to work hard to keep their trust.”
