OHIO STATE AUXILIARY
FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE
Welcome to the Ohio State Auxiliary website. We as FOP Auxiliary members are the family members of Law Enforcement Officers. We exist because of the Fraternal Order of Police, but we support all Blue Line Officers and their family members. If your LEO is a FOP member and you’d like to learn more about joining our auxiliary family or starting your own auxiliary, please contact myself or any member of the Ohio Auxiliary Board.
As we move through the year again our LEO’s have been under attack by the evilness that unfortunately is our society today. We, more than ever, need to be here to support our LEO’s and our Blue Line Family members not just here in Ohio but across the U.S. and abroad. We have more members getting involved with the CIRS program, taking the two-day class so we can be better trained to not only help during a critical incident but to better understand how to help at home when our LEO is in a critical incident. We know as blue family members we want to fix it and make it better. That is not always what they need.
We continue to support the many charities such as CIRS, Special Olympics, National Peace Officers Memorial. One of our own local and state officers, chairs the National Peace Officers Memorial Committee in Washington DC each year. These committees are very important and special to us, but the closest to our hearts is the Fallen Hero Committee, that was formed serval years ago to honor our Fallen Heroes right here in Ohio. We present a plaque to the FOP Lodge (or agency, if the fallen hero wasn’t a FOP member) in the fallen hero’s name with a monetary donation.
I was once again honored to be elected as your Ohio State President at our conference in July. I hope you will consider starting your own Auxiliary. I think I speak for the entire State Auxiliary board when I say, there is nothing like being a part of the FOP family. We live by our motto ‘NEVER LET THEM WALK ALONE”, this includes not only our LEO’s but our blue line family members. We are here for you whether you are a member of an Auxiliary or not.
